Erasmus+ ALERRT. Autism on the Line! project aims to train first responders (police officers, firefighters, medical emergency/ambulance workers) to acquire sufficient knowledge and understanding about Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The project also provides the tools and training contexts to develop the skills necessary to recognise, interact, and treat appropriately individuals with ASD in cases of emergency. Ultimately, the project wants to help families and caregivers of individuals with ASD connect with first responders and develop mutual trust and the feeling of dependence on them when an emergency situation occurs.
ALERRT. Autism on the Line! is a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme 2014-2020. The partner organisations involved in the development and implementation of the activities also contribute fairly to the realization of the project objectives. The Erasmus+ support is acknowledged throughout the project by means of logos and text.
